Rot – Nowhere

Once it became known that the old Brazilian good fellows from Rot got together again I was really looking forward to their new record. I’ve been waiting and was a bit afraid because I’ve noticed a negative thing that happens when the bands reunite and record the shitiest stuff… But my fears didn’t pan out and Nowhere turned out to be very robust! As for the guys, I can assure that all their works are really cool in their own way (even noisy and ugly live records:)) But first things first. This record was released on 7″ vinyl and CD … Continue reading Rot – Nowhere

Suffering Mind – Discography 2008-2010 (Selfmadegod Records)

Well, sooner or later it had to happen. For many years those polish grind freaks from Suffering Mind released so many different stuff, so this CD is pretty logical sequel of their works. Finally a big discography, fuck it`s almost 50 minutes of fast and mad grindcore (This CD is packed to full capacity but the period covered here is only two years… it`s crazy, these guys are so productive). Also notable here is the fact that there is material that is presented here was released exclusively on vinyls, this piece of plastic included songs from “Death To False Grindcore” … Continue reading Suffering Mind – Discography 2008-2010 (Selfmadegod Records)

Antigama – Meteor (Selfmadegod Records)

Antigama is a very specific and crazy band, and that’s why I like it so much. And with every new album, these guys are progressing in their insanity more and more … and that makes me very happy. Their 6th album can be considered as one of the most outstanding achievements of the people of Poland. This album is like a good portion of “zubrovka”, it hits the head very hard. Meteor is stylish by its design but absolutely mad by its contents. Beautiful panoramic landscape of space is very cool and colorful contrast to those 11 psychedelic tracks. There … Continue reading Antigama – Meteor (Selfmadegod Records)

Agathocles / Satanic Malfunctions (Selfmadegod Records)

Since Ade Crawford made his own version of Satanic Malfunctions in 2013, this new band with the old name was seriously approached by Poland Selfmadegod Records. After the release of their debut album, guys delivered this split with the Belgian mincecore pioneers – Agathocles. The artist, Jeferson Pizone was able to truly capture the essence of punk and implement one of the songs of Ag “Grind Is Protest” in his artwork. Especially in context of recent events, when the police allows itself too much, this work has some real meaning. But the nice things do not end there – the booklet … Continue reading Agathocles / Satanic Malfunctions (Selfmadegod Records)

Krigblast – Power Till Demise (Selfmadegod Records)

Hohoho, let this day become the day of punk rock in Good Guys Go Grind! Perhaps, I may sound stupid (it can’t be helped), but I didn’t know a thing about the Texas punk/crust scene till today. As it turned out, the guys from Texas chop punk rock in a very cheerful way as well as they cook delicious beefsteaks! I always take against being nerdy about the hashtags… so, as for me, Krigblast play crust, mixing it with various genres, but play around with them by yourselfs. Their debut release – Power Till Demise, was a pleasant surprise. 14 crust bullets (including … Continue reading Krigblast – Power Till Demise (Selfmadegod Records)

Dead Infection / Parricide (Selfmadegod rec)

When labels praise their LP and splits releases they sometimes exaggerating things. But that’s not the case right now, Selfmadegod Records praised their another release deservedly, and we can see why: it’s a split of two Polish brontosaurus Dead Infection \ Parricide! I don’t even know how long have we waited for this release… but I’m glad that we finally can listen to it!Whoever came up with an idea for a cover has definitely had one hell of a hangover, hehehe! “Looking For Victims” is the name of DI’s stuff. Maybe I’m crazy, but the cover shows to us cat-Hitler … Continue reading Dead Infection / Parricide (Selfmadegod rec)

A long time ago, not even in our galaxy… ancient evil, which was sleeping in ages, finally woke up!
