Convulsions are one of these bands, that are ripping from the beginning. Every EP or split was fantastic. And of course, it was just a matter of time, before the boys would record a full-length release. And finally, in the spring of 2023, they dropped that sound bomb! So that work got the name “Grindcore Not War”, yes it’s not a common name (I mean approach) but it’s very actual and accurate for me. The main cover art depicts a photo of the hanging of Serbs in Trebinje 1914 (the beginning of the 1WW). This record was released on CD and vinyl formats, and still available in many distros, so I`m recommend you get one for your collection.

Should I say that this is a pure animalistic example of the grindcore genre? Convulsions know the way to your nervous system. Get ready for your daily dose of carnage, chaos, and brutality, this album is fucking fire! A non-stop riffs will slaughter your ears and brains while blastbeats will grind your insides with these toxic vibrations, low-growling vocals, and heavy bass will finish you. I’m not afraid to say that every grind freak waited for an album like this. “Grindcore Not War” is unbelievably fast and heavy, this is definitely a gem worth listening to!
