Must admit, Nyctophagia is a damn productive project, and here we go again, a new EP. But this time it’s not a typical grind/gore mass… this time Dylan put on his old punk shirt and recorded some interesting material. But we will analyze everything in detail later. This 3″CD (damn, fucking love this format) has a nice cover with a crust rat that is ripping apart Magrudergrinds record, haha! That is a nice beginning, I like it when people use some humor in their work…

So, as I told you before this session has a good old punk spirit, but don’t be afraid you’ll get more of that. These 13 minutes of noise are full of d-beat, and blastbeat lines. Thrashy riffs are heavy as fuck, the bass is strong (but it could be louder, like in the crust genre, but that is only my opinion). Jose Neto (Putrafacta / Thanatopsis) made good work with vocals. Growls, pitch-shifted vomit blast, everything here and fits perfectly. The pumping energy of this mini-album is phenomenal… this shit will knock you down! Besides the pleasure and headache, this small release will give you 10 reasons to bang your head off, ha!
