Ohio’s MSO ripped apart the listeners with their debut work… I remember that album, that was like “holy shit, wtf was that?!”. But the boys didn’t think to stop, and here we go again, the second album of this wicked duo is out. Grand Vomit rec kindly allowed us to make an autopsy of this nice CD. So this time we have 26 dead bodies (aka songs), that are served under disgusting rotten souse. This smelly burrito is wrapped up with a well-crafted gory cover-up, I must say this time guys jumped above their own heads… this shit looks so disturbing, I bet that fans of Justin Bieber will easily puke, if you’ll show them this art, haha! Well done guys!

I think I need to mention one thing, this band is a very significant example of the genre, I would say it has a ton of unique approaches and twists in the music. Yes here and there you will catch something familiar, but this band is far from a “clone band”. The first thing that nailed me was the variety that Joe and Noah used in their songs. This is not a wall of blastbeat kind of goregrind, or groovy, or whatever… These maniacs managed to combine many sub-genres in one big and tasty pie. One song is rough and deadly aggressive but the other has a good punk attitude, some are almost old-school grindcore. And that’s why I love this album so much, you simply feel that MSO is open-minded (of course in frames of the genre). Besides that, this record has a great sound, stupidly catchy energy and brings a lot of fun!

The guys show us that they know how to grind, again! We strongly recommend this album for all grind freaks and we’ll keep watching for Mutated Sex Organ, something tells me that they will surprise us again soon!
