Greetings guys! Hope you`re all well. Please introduce yourself to our readers. Let`s start! Zenn: Here’s Zenn, ¼ of the GO!FEST crew. I’ve played in several bands in the past (one of them, Compost, was reviewed in this website years ago) and I write reviews and interviews on The New Noise (Italian) and Touch of Evil. I’m also a UX/UI designer and Front End Developer with very bad music tastes. Pompeo: Hi, I’m Pompeo, for 11 years one of the people in charge for Go! Plutocracy – Civilized…….?

Plutocracy was a legend! They were one of the grindcore/powervilonce pioneers in the USA. Can`t say that these guys were productive, but they left a really nice legacy after. I had never had a chance to get their stuff here in Europe, but Alimentary Music sorted my problem. “Civilized…….?” is the second compilation in Plutocracy discography, it contains 19 tracks, songs from Snitch E.P., unreleased songs, tracks from splits with Aproctous, 976 and Discordance Axis, and a compilation Son Of Bllleeeeaaauuurrrrgghhh!. Max/625 Thrashcore rec (27.02.23)

Good day Max! I hope you`re doing well. How the things with the label going on? Hello Alex. I hope you are safe and doing well during this horrible time.As for 625, things are going relatively well, although the recent increase in manufacturing costs, postage, etc has been really difficult. Count The Dead sees the space between blasting on powerviolence records typically filled with guitar feedback instead filled with noise. The power electronics aspects have an intuitive understanding of their parallels with the blasting of the drums – and even more so with the blown out growl of the vocals. In emphasizing its two separate elements and their relation to one another, … Continue reading Body Parts – Count the Dead

Rumor Kontrol – Here Are The Facts

Monday is for powerviolence! This genre has a long history, it has its own heroes and stars. This genre is still popular there are a lot of new bands and Rumor Kontrol is one of them. To be accurate this is not a straight pv, it has a lot of old-school hardcore and grindcore. But anyway looks like this band (and the label which released it) is very much in DIY movement. Look at this tape, the label Let Them Eat Tapes made everything very simple but interesting. Especially I love the print on the cassettes it looks delicious! This … Continue reading Rumor Kontrol – Here Are The Facts
