Jesus Ain’t In Poland ‎- No Man’s Land (Grindpromotion Records)

I won’t lie, news about the new album of Italian Grinders Jesus Ain’t In Poland has surprised me a lot. Because I was sure that they were in deep and cold hiatus. But our friends were silently preparing a huge portion of noisey material. This hammering album contains 12 songs and more than 1 hour of noise! On this album, the guys tried something new, this massive album is not just pure Grindcore… No Man’s Land consists of Grindcore, some Black metal tinges and an atmosphere of doom metal. Maybe some nerdy Grindheads will say “this sucks because it’s not … Continue reading Jesus Ain’t In Poland ‎- No Man’s Land (Grindpromotion Records)

Boak – Movies (Grindpromotion Records)

Do you believe in love at first noise? Nope? But, Italian monstrous label Grindpromotion Records does! And that is freaking good, because last year this label fell in love with the new work of Boak. So obviously (after jumping from their pants) guys have signed all papers and all materials were sent to the press plant. This record is short (yes that is only one minus) but on the other hand it is full of ferocity… All songs fit on one green side (that’s why this format called s-sided ep). By the way did you know that powerviolence bands have … Continue reading Boak – Movies (Grindpromotion Records)

Deadbeat / Boak (Grindpromotion Records)

So we’re back to powerviolence, finally haha. This is not a super new split but, believe me this one definitely deserves any PV freaks attention. Two different bands and two different lands. Fresh violent juice from Scottish Boak and the second release ever from Californian bandits Deadbeat… At first glance this cover looks pretty boring but, it`s only our first look. Lets pay attention to the details… First what we can see here is some kind of medal with a dying man inside. I’m sure that this is the main topic and it shows that for every stupid medal stands … Continue reading Deadbeat / Boak (Grindpromotion Records)

Forged – Self-Titled (Grindpromotion records)

When it became known to the public that Forged is going to release new EP, fans if powerviolence were joyed. And I was joyed too, because this band does its best and sounds convincing, their painful noise sticks in your head for a long time. This West Coast Powerviolence band sure has a solid reputation on a local scene, played on a lot of stages and fests, and also are very popular outside of their country, so it means something, right? So let’s get into it and figure out what their music is all about. They reminded me a little … Continue reading Forged – Self-Titled (Grindpromotion records)

Life of Refusal ‎– Survival In Negative (Grindpromotion)

Survival In Negative is a very fresh release by californian pals from Life of Refusal. Those 10 minutes of sound have a powerful hardcore kernel which is overgrown with various extreme noises like grindcore and powerviolence. I am 100% sure that this release will find a lot of fans around the world… But no matter how many times I’ve listened to this, Life of Refusal music could not get me completely… In general it`s not bad material it`s powerful and fast, there are some boring parts sometimes (but it`s totally ok becouse it`s very hard to create 100% juicy and … Continue reading Life of Refusal ‎– Survival In Negative (Grindpromotion)

Savage / MPG (Grindpromotion)

America strikes again! This release is strongly recommended for fans of good powerviolence and grindcore with more punk-oriented sound. I can’t say that this split is somewhat invented some new things in the genre, but I’m sure it helps to build this huge wall of underground extreme music scene. It starts with two songs of band called Savage from Washington. Each song “Horrified” and “Point Blank” I liked first and foremost because of a great vocals (reminded me of Spazz), and you also will be rocked hard by groovy guitar riffs… Guys from Savage decided to put everything on groovy … Continue reading Savage / MPG (Grindpromotion)
