Since its formation in 1993, the Japanese grind band, Unholy Grave, has released tons of good material. 12 full-length albums, an impressive amount of EPs, and a massive number of splits. This is truly a legend, that turned 30 years this year… time flies fast. So what the hell is “Thunder Vibration”? This album was released almost 10 years ago (2014) by Heavy Metal Super Star Records and was limited to 130 hand-numbered copies. It`s extremely hard to find a copy of that stuff… but miracles sometimes happen. In the 2021 year, Grindfather Productions and Selfmadegod Records joined forces and re-released this album in CD format. Finally, all fans of Unholy Grave can feel the taste of this album!

Here is what I find out about this recording session. Not everything was recorded in Japan, bass and drums are recorded live and mixed down to 2 tracks at “Root Studio” in Jakarta on 8th April 2013. Guitar and Vocals are recorded later in Studio Grave in Nagoya, in April/May 2013. Those who are familiar with this band, know that U.G. doesn`t mess around! The guys never deviated from their goal or their path… this is 100% ferocious Japanese grindcore. A bit raw sound, the same good old riffs… tons of emotions, fast drums, and angry vocals! Absolutely aggressive buzzing madness! That is what we are looking for, solid wicked music that can grind you to the core!

I`m looking forward to more re-issues like this because there are still a lot of rare/hard-to-find records of this lovely band!
