Monday is for powerviolence! This genre has a long history, it has its own heroes and stars. This genre is still popular there are a lot of new bands and Rumor Kontrol is one of them. To be accurate this is not a straight pv, it has a lot of old-school hardcore and grindcore. But anyway looks like this band (and the label which released it) is very much in DIY movement. Look at this tape, the label Let Them Eat Tapes made everything very simple but interesting. Especially I love the print on the cassettes it looks delicious!

This is just a debut release, so I won`t be too harsh. The beginning of this EP is really nice. Good pissed-off vocals and speed. Fast parts and some in middle tempos… guys are trying their best. And generally, this material is not bad… but there are a few things that guys need to work on. First of all, this is a general sound because it`s dry, the same with the guitar tone. The bass sounds too digital (but maybe it was made for some purpose, I don’t know) I think that guys spent a lot of time recording and re-recording riffs and beats, at least that’s the only explanation for the lack of energy in the songs.
