World Eater is a young but promising band from dark and cold Finland. This year these guys created and recorded their first 7 songs. Unfortunately, this release didn`t get much attention in the grind underground, so we will try to fix that. The mighty UK label Grindfather production took them on board and released a tape with this material. As far as I know, the label released a very limited amount of cassettes… so consider yourself lucky if you have this tape in your collection.

Honestly, I like this small debut. Of course, this work is pretty short, but this is only their first stuff. I think the best side (and it’s an important thing generally) it`s the energy. The guys paying honestly, damn emotionally, and with fire. Everything here has a DIY spirit, the sound and production are raw… but the result of this “studio work” is fucking catchy. Good combination of the guitar and crunchy bass, drums do have not the worst sound too. I don`t want to sound like a dickhead, but there is one thing that I don’t like/get here. This “drunk yelling” type of vocal doesn’t fit this punchy music.
There is still some work to do, but I think this is a really great debut demo. Looking forward to their new records!
