Pharmacist – Flourishing Extremities On Unspoiled Mental Grounds

New pathological stars from Japan finally released their 2d album! It`s impressive because the band is active for only 1,5 years and they already recorded two full-lengths. Visually, nothing has changed, we can same sick gore art, the same logo… But musically Pharmacists had changed. This record is mature, the riffs are more complex, more various, same I can say about the tempos. For the perfect understanding of “Flourishing Extremities On Unspoiled Mental Grounds” you need to sit in a chair, pour yourself a glass of strong alcohol, and turn it on. Just like your favorite drink, you have to taste every song, every note, and tune.

I bet that the lucky number of this LP is 7, why? We have here 7 songs and almost all of them are 7 minutes long, haha! As I already told you, this work has so many various riffs, bone-crushing guitar solos, and also this stuff is very atmospheric. The foundation stone of this record is guitars, that guy is fucking maniac, haha! It`s a bit sad, but the bass is cluttered, it`s a usual thing in extreme music, but it still helps to make this sound heavier. The general sound of the drums is good, however, but the cymbals are a bit dry to my taste. Do I need to mention that the vocal sounds wicked and evil as always?)

I don`t really know if grind fans will dig this album, because this is a very death metal release. This is another level for Pharmacist, technically and musically. As for me, I enjoyed this record a lot, I didn’t even notice how those 45 minutes went, and my played vomited this CD back, ha!
