Last year was rich with a ton of great releases. Grindcore, gore, death metal, and powerviolence but there weren`t much of fastcore releases. Today I want to spin a bloody good LP of Sheeva Yoga. These are awesome fast boys from Ostrava (Czech Republic). Vanitas Vanitatum was released last year by many labels in 10″ vinyl format. Must admit that it’s very pleasant to hold this record in my hands, read everything and look at the strange and interesting cover art. This is a really cool thing, but what’s gonna happen if we put a needle on it?

From the very first notes, this stuff simply rips your mind! Fast, wicked, chaotic… damn guys managed to record something really evil, haha! Everything sounds extremely well, you will be able to hear all cymbals, every riff and so on. The guitar tone sounds so ferous and loud, but I also caught a lot of punk moments in the riffs, which is awesome. Guys use a few kinds of vocal, and that win-win approach always helps to spice any record. But the boys didn’t just use standard musical instruments. You will also hear saxophone and keyboards, what a crazy guys, haha! In my opinion, Vanitas Vanitatum is really mature work, and it`s simply must have!
