Nekrofilth / Unholy Grave

When I heard the rumors about this release I was fucking stocked! Two great bands on 1 vinyl… lovely! Unfortunately, this is 6″ format, and it’s damn short, but we have what we have. This psycho art is hiding 4 minutes of old-school death metal and top-notch grindcore. The first 120 seconds belong to the USA death machine Nekrofilth!
Both songs have an unbelievable spirit of the 90th. Fast, noisy, and cheerful metal right into the face! Great riffs, nice tempos not the worst production. The guitar sounds wild, the same I can say about the vocal, that pissed-off style sounds especially good in combination with that crazy energy. But the best thing is the atmosphere of chaos and fun!

Japanese legends Unholy Grave are not so active these days, so I`m extremely happy to have every new stuff of them. Their side consists of only one song “Hijacked”, and that song is bloody good! It`s made in their brand style, with a bit of messy sound but honest aggression and energy. Catchy riffs, crunchy sound of the bass, and fast drums. I really love how UG balancing between madness and nice readable sound in their tracks. Must say that these legends have their own original and interesting look on grindcore music and I love it so much.

But the negative side of this release is that there is not enough material. It`s hard to be satisfied with only 4 minutes of such good noise(((
