Okay boys and girls this is something new for me and I believe for you too. This is not a young band, the first demo was released almost 15 years ago. Unfortunately, there is not much info about this band, but 7Ft Beyond Belief is a real unknown treasure, haha! This material is freaking hot! Yes, maybe this CD has not the best design, everything here looks very simple and primitive. BUT visual part is not always important, believe me, the music in this CD is worth listening to.
Netherland, the land that brings us a lot of good death and grind bands. And I think I can add to that list 7Ft Beyond Belief as well. Because guys take the best and strongest parts of death metal and spice it with some grind dust. Musically this is more death than grind, riffs, structures, and the atmosphere but that does not mean that this another more weak and boring metal band. Hell no! The guys managed to create very solid and heavy stuff with some grind attitude. There some strong blasting parts, some pretty slow and dark pieces, guys even use melodies too. All together it sounds amazing. Even triggered bass drum sound couldn`t destroy impressions of “Beyond the Buried Eyes”, haha!
Guys even if you`re far from such music, give this album a chance, I bet you will be surprised! This CD proves that, sometimes, even unknown bands with so so looking designs could surprise and smash! Do not believe your eyes, boys and girls 😉
