Septicemic Plague – Creeping Flesh Horror

Today I will talk about debut tape of the one-man goregrind project from Occidental/USA. Unfortunately, I didn’t find a lot of information about this project. So far this band released 3 tapes, the last was a split with Meatus, and now their bandcamp page is pretty silent. I found about this act because my friend from GarbageBondage Records released it, and sent the tape to me. What can I say I was more than surprised…

Creeping Flesh Horror is simply awesome low vibrations with disgusting (in a good way) sound! Raw and bit messy, this sound reminds me, old bands, who played/playing in their own joy, and who didn’t get a fuck about super studio recording. I found this music very cheerful and positive. I love this pitch-shifted vocal, it has monstrous power, same I can say about this dirty guitar. Chainsaw tone and riffs of it are so simple but so cool. An interesting fact, drum programming that was used in this work sound good, the secret is in mastering (at least I think so). This work is a really nice piece of gore.

In conclusion, I can only highlight that fact, that the man who stands behind this mess, is talented and he knows what he is doing. If you love bands like Regurgitate, very early LDOH, and Impetigo, than tries “Creeping Flesh Horror”, you won’t regret it!

Rating: 8/10  Septicemic Plague bc
